The International Conference on Molecular mechanisms of intracellular calcium signalling (MMICS 2009) will be held in Kyiv, Ukraine during October 11-13, 2009. The aim objective of MMICS 2009 is an opportunity for the international community, academics, scientists researchers, students to present their original work, exchange ideas and develop a new vision for the future of the Calcium Signalling and its regulation.  This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish research relations, to find international partners for future collaboration and get the possibility for young scientists for new knowledge in this field. This event coincides with the Jubilee of Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology and Prof. Platon Kostyuk.

Topics to be covered

• Neurophysiology, pharmacology and biophysics of ionic channels

• Function of metabotropic receptors

• Synaptic transmission

• Calcium ions as messengers in excitable and non-excitable cells

Submitted conference abstracts will be reviewed by technical committees of the Conference.
 

The Conference will take place at the Large Conference hall of Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology NASU, Bogomoletz Str., 4

 Poster Session will take place at Lobby of BIPH Conference hall

All accepted abstracts will be published in the "Fiziologichnyj Zhurnal" (Kyiv). As usual, the Journal will be indexed by the major indexing services, such as Thomson ISI Proceeding (ISTP) and appeared in Pubmed (the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health).
